Lake Baum
Lake Baum
Lake Baum ​began playing playing guitar at age 11 when he received his first Fender Stratocaster.  He studied classical guitar at the Dana School of Music.  Lake has worked as studio musician and producer at Kontinuos Jams Studios.  He has been a musician (on guitar, banjo, bass and keyboards) and musical director for numerous professional musical theater productions.  Lake is currently the resident guitarist with Easy Street productions as well as often performing in the orchestra at the Youngstown Playhouse.  In addition, Lake teaches privately and has composed music for several new dramatic theater productions.

Lake has been a member of Fat Angus (AC/DC tribute), Radio Lark, Generation Rock and ThreeWill (Rush tribute).

Lake has performed with Tiffany, Sarah Turner, Bill Bodine, Michael J Moritz Jr. and has opened for Kansas, Maureen McGovern and Abbey Road.

  • Fender American Standard Telecaster modified with a PAF Humbucker in the neck position, a 4 way selector that allows for both pickups to operate in series and parallel and push/pull pot to switch the neck pickup from humbucker to single coil

  • 1968 Fender Bandmaster Head  (Drip-Edge) modified with a master volume and using vintage tubes
  • Custom 2 x 12 Cabinet  with one Celestion Vintage 30 and one 1968 vintage Utah speaker
